95 cami will turn over but not cank up

95 cami will turn over but not cank up
if i jumped the yellow and purple wire on my tdr and it turns over with the key now, does that mean that the tdm is good. but it still wont start. not getting fuel. please help my daughter is so ready to drive this thing
