97 Z28 that's been sitting for a WHILE

So my buddy has a 97 Z28 that he got for a great price, but it has been sitting for the last 2 years with the same gas in it (in someones driveway). The battery was dead, so we replaced it with a brand new one. Apparently the car was running fine when it was parked, but hasn''t been started since. I can tell the rotors are completely rusted over too, and the tires look bad... but that''s another subject.
So, I can hear the fuel pump prime, and it turns over fine... it just won''t start.
I plan to check next that it''s getting spark.. but my question is... can something like the fuel lines, injectors, intake, be clogged up from the fuel sitting in there?
I plan to siphon out the old gas, and put a gallon or 2 of new gas in there with injector cleaner or something in it. Can I take the hose off the fuel rail and spray something in there?
Assuming I have spark, what exactly would you guys do? We just wanna get this thing started so we can start fixing it up.. it''s gonna need new paint too.. the car was sitting outside.
Thanks!!
