I recently did the math on my fuel economy and it turns out I'm getting 38.7 average mpg. I am not complaining I am concerned there might be an issue with the fuel system. I have replaced every sensor within the last year and got a fancy new intake gasket. Im running a custom air intake with an electronic super charger, flowmaster single in dual out exhaust, bosch iridium spark plugs with high end plug wires(cant remember the brand) I also recently installed a venom400 performance monitor. I am just worried its running lean or something how can I check this?

I forgot to mention it has 143560 miles on it.

First things first: how did you calculate your fuel economy?

Also, what's an electronic super charger?

Do you drive the car hard?

If it's running lean enough to get that fuel economy, you almost certainly would have burned it up by now. At the very least, you'd have a Service Engine Soon light and some trouble codes to show for it.

There is no way you should get that kind of gas mileage !!!

sure it is possible if the odometer reads an additional 1/2 a mile for every mile it goes.

but B.S even when my 97 3.8 was new it only averaged about 25mpg.
