Will CC305 work well with S/C?

Will a CC305 work well with a blower? I plan on using the CC305 with the stock LT1 in my '88 T/A with a 6-speed. I'd I'd like to add a S/C later on, but don't want to do another cam swap for the blower. Will the CC305 work relatively well with a blower? Also, which would be better for my application? CC305 or GM 847? I'm on a budget.

They work rather well for all around use. There are some that will make more ultimate power, but as far as combined drivability with good power, I feel they are hard to beat. They are rather easy on valvetrain compared to some of the Extreme Energy grinds as well. I suggest the cc305 cam often.

For reference, this car is running one.

Good luck in your decision.

I have the CC305 in my 383LT1 9,1 comp ported heads and 10psi boost and im wery pleased widh it, Did the same thing you plan to do, installed it widh ported heads on my LT1 350, last fall i installed a P1SC 6 psi, and under the winter rebuilded it :D for more boost...
Dont now how much i should gain widh onother cam, but i like the CC305 character, so i plan to keep it, long tube hedders will be my next step...

I must say the cc305 cam has treated me well. ;)

I went to the track last night and the track prep was in it's usual street night lack of traction available mode and ran high 10's at 128 all night long.

Good luck,
Marc

Dave Lewis/MTI were making in 790rwhp range with that cam in their six speed, blown, 383, AFR headed after cooled 95 Hawk. That was with mid length headers and through a Borla. Car has had a couple changes and now makes in 900 range.
