Who out there has more than 600 RWHP on their LT1 PCM?

Who out there has a current set up that has dyno results showing more than 600 RWHP, tuned all on a stock LT1 PCM? Just curious.

I do I know their are many others, its realy not that hard to do.

would it be harder on a 94-95 then a 96-97? What are the safety issues with using the stock pcm?

With forced induction?

-After MAF sensor maxes out, no measurement of airflow, therefore no airflow based fueling. (if boost fluctuates with ambient conditions fueling will not compensate). An overboost condition will likely result in carnage as timing will remain the same and there will be no additional fueling.

-1 bar map sensor, does not read positive manifold pressure. No boost based fueling, no boost based timing. (timing just locks in on the bottom row when in any amount of boost). Though some have installed a 2 bar map sensor and tuned speed density, I would imagine this to be a lengthy process with no real time tuning capability or histogram logging.

-No WOT closed loop wideband. Not necessary, but can help save your engine if you encounter, say a failing fuel pump or clogged filter.

Many people have used LT1 PCM's on 600+rwhp applications, but IMHO it is rather unsafe and a hack at best when you cannot tune timing and fueling off of actual measured airflow or manifold pressure.

I am not sure of the point of the question, but mine has over 600rwhp with a factory PCM.

The question was asked just to re-affirm that it can be done, and that there are people out there with more than 600 RWHP, tuned on the stock LT1 PCM.

My goal is 600 RWHP but it'll be a few months before I have dyno numbers.

Thanks Jim this is the info that I needed. I would rather be safe then sorry with all the $$ I have tied into my setup. I will most likely not be able to afford a BS3 or Fast setup for awhile though but when I can its going on. I will just have my pcm tuned for maximum HP with it still being on the safe side of things. 550-600rwhp is more then enough to handle my needs for the time being and with a BS3 I know I can get more. I will get used to the combo with what I can get out of the stock pcm hp wise then add the BS3 when that gets old to me. Hopefully you can do some magic on my car as yours is simply awesome.
Thanks for the info,
Randy

dynoed 600rwhp widh a P1sc, ported stock heads, cc305, twin IC, 12-13 psi (2004)

Now 17psi from a F1, ported TFS, custom cam, FMIC, RWHP? at least over 600 ;)

All on the stock PCM? Nice!

Lisa33 Is it going to be plus 15 mph again for 2006??? 156mph!??

156mph? havent notice the 15mph+/year (gotta get me an N20 kit :) ) No dont think so, aming for 9.8/143, only upgrade this year is 9.5" vig widh higer stall, 12 rib belt insted of the 8rib....

Daily driven, nope gas is to expensive for that here in sweden (6.1$ / gallon)
Street driven yes :D http://www.mazz.nu/index.php?cat=birka1_06
