Vortech upgrade/exchange program??

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone had done either the Vortech head unit upgrade or exchange and could provide results of the experience.

I currently have an A-trim which I believe can be rebuilt into a non-HD S-trim. The other option is to use my current head unit as $750 core value towards any head unit (HD-S or T).

Any comment on cost, warranty, timing, service, overall impression?
