Any thoughts on this combo with an after cooler, will it kill my motor 6psi??
I really dont know much about SC but I can get a good deal on one and need some feed back!

Blowers on stock LT1s have been extensively covered here in "Forced Induction" as of late. Do a search.

In a nutshell, intercooled 6psi shouldn't hurt anything, but stock LT1s historically don't handle supercharging well. Many end up being rebuilt despite just 6-8 psi of boost. In other words, there are no guarantees.

But what I would really like to know is if the S trim is a good unit to buy?

For a smaller entry level blower I think they are a pretty good stuff, robust etc.....

 

The S-trim kit is a great choice. Yes, you can run it on a stock LT1, and yes, you will rebuild it eventually. The Intercooler will help, but there's two types of blower cars...those that have rebuilt them and those that will.
