Compstar>>>>>Eagle. The 5.7 rod is the best bet for a blower setup. Well, the best may be 5.875" but the difference is marginal and the cost is quite a bit higher as it is an "odd" size. H v. I beam is a meaningless distinction.

BTW: you might get more response in the correct section, Forced Induction.

I am running a 6.0 eagle H beam. I am not sure if one is better 5.7 or 6.0 but that is what I am running

To answer your specific question, I would get the Eagle H-beam over the I-beam.

Are there better rods out there than Eagle, yeah. Is 700hp too much for an Eagle H-beam rod... no.

Ditto - 5.7 eagle h beams here.

I just got a set of wiseco pistons that are made out of the same 2618 material that JE and Ross use for blower pistons. I saw a few ls1 guys running them with good results, so I'm going to give them a shot.
