Supercharger on stock motor...
Supercharger on stock motor...
First off, let me explain something. There is a possibility that I might sell my car. If I do, I may try to buy a 94 or 95 Z28 and add a blower to it. How well will the car be with a supercharger on a stock motor? I don't plan to go all out with this car. Just the blower, full exhaust and few other little things and suspension. Hopefully, I can find a good deal on a Z28 with low miles.

Do not put a blower on a car unless you are prepared to join the rebuild club, they all blow at some point and blowers are not cheap.
They are fun but not cheap, if you don't want to go "all out" then sell the 97 and buy an LS-1 and put some heads / cam in it.
Hell, my 98 stock motor w/ lid, catback, free mods and Vigilante runs 12.8 @ 105, heads & cam and tuning and I'm sure it would run high 11's / low 12's depending on conditions.
Good luck and rembeber if you go blown "Boost is addictive"

Hey I did what your planing on doing with mine. I added a P-1sc to my 95 z with 60K on the car. It is the best mod Ive done. It feels great. Boost is the way to go as far as im concerned. My motor was 100% healty when I bolted the blower on I always ran moble 1 it never leaked or burnt a drop of oil. With a good tune and 28# hour injectors it took three days of spirited driving to crack a ringland. My summer is ruined! still i don't regret it and my case is abnormal. Usually you get more life than that but I have to build a motor like the rest of us now. go Blown but save your money for a forged rotating assembly.
Hope this isn't your case
