Exclamation Supercharged Riviera with minimal mods makes almost 400 lbs flywheel torque

I have one and love it (see sig). My mods are pretty close to this one so this is enlightening (I can't wait to waste a stock 5.slow or 4.sick with it ......lol)

Not really.

While you do lose HP through drivetrain losses, you can see more Torque at the wheels than flywheel is actually producing because of the torque multiplication of your torque converter.

That's easy on a supercharged 3800. It's already rated a conservative 280tq from the factory. Roots blown cars put down some monster torque down low.

I have a dyno graph of my 02 GTP with minor bolt on's (rockers/orp/pulley/intake/stock catback) making 450 wtq on the dyno with a 50 shot.

aram, based on your dyno numbers..... SageofKnight and BobRocket must be right, even though their points are as different as day and night ...lol. Mr. Bolten (lol)....remember, I was tallking about flywheel numbers here, not front-wheel.

I didnt meant that the numbers were not impressive. They are very good, my GN when it was mostly stock put out 446 FT-LBS to the rear wheels. So, I know those supercharged V6's can do similarly to my turbo V6's. The 3.8L forced induction engines rock. Turbo and super.
