Some S/C Parts Questions

I have a vortech S trim that I bought used (supposedly complete), but its missing some components. I looked at the manual and Vortech lists a MAP Sensor. Can I just use my stocker, or do I need it?

Also, the Vortech Crank pulley just bolts over the stock LT1 damper/crank pulley right? The directions say something about removing the balancer weight from original balancer and installing onto vortech balancer. I dont see a part number for this balancer though?

Ok, first. My vortech I had came with the map sensor, but also came with the retard control ****...does your's have that? I mixed my stock map sensor up with the other one and it still worked...so not too sure on that...

Second, you are missing the balancer. I was missing mine with the powerdyne I just got and what I did was grind down the triangle and other b.s. that's raised up on the stock one. Also my powerdyne has a ring at the bottom of the pulley...I grinded that down too since it looks like that's supposed to fit inside of the powerdyne pulley...I can't remember if vortech is like that.

yes, you should have the vortech ballancer. However if you modify your stock one you'll be ok.
