Some other PTK kit pictures

Hey guys I took some pictures of the kit on my car. I took some things out of the way to get some better shots, so at least you can get a clear shot of what the kit looks like.

Still plenty of room even with the T88 againist the radiator.

PTE88

bottom of water tank...perfect fit.

crossover pipe, uses V-bands and flex section which is a very nice addition.

DP, exiting from 88, uses donut flange, I also have a 4" version using the V-band housing.

driver side

pass. side

Water/air IC, bigger then it looks, its bascially almost riding on the plastic cover behind it. Mine is a little larger version though then the normal street kit.

H.E. and Dual Spals

large water tank.

I decided to keep my battery up front so I made a bracket to mount under the water tank....its a dry cell dynabatt.

Great pics!

It's amazing to see how similar those headers are to the ones i'm fabbing up. But, then again, it isn't like there are too many other options when it comes to routing.

I was wondering about the drainback you have, I can't quite tell but from the angle of the photo it looks like its going uphill. Do you think you'll have any problems?

Again, great looking setup!

From the angle I took the pics it looks maybe like that but its not. It slopes down all the way to the pan. Yeah their are not many header routing options...lol.

thanks for the pics Jose. So the crossover goes between the kmember and the bellhosing. Does the exhaust route down the driver's side and crossover behind the tranny?

1) what wastegate are you using?

2) I notice the outlet of the compressor housing is pointed straight down - how does your IC pipe routing work?

96TurboTA, the crossover goes under the car and up to the header. The DP does down the driver side.

Geoff, I'm running the Tial 38mm since I'm not bleeding alot of boost. The outlet is pointing down cause the pipe coming from the IC comes from under the turbo. The setup fits very nicely.

Jose, thanks for the info. I've been thinking about buying the ptk hot parts, but I'm concerned where the piping is routed under the car. My car is low to the ground.

Lookin good man. How about a few pics of the plugs/wire clearance on those headers? Also, did you have to do anything to the radiator/ac stuff to get the PT88 to fit in there?

Edit... Are you going to be selling those 4" down pipes?

I can change plugs in 30 mins max.

No the 4" is a custom piece, to difficult to duplicate. As for A/C, and radiator, nothing had to be moved except the fans, and the kit comes with Dual Spal pushers.
