Solid Intake Pipe...

I know many people on this board always ask about solid intake pipes. I have some pics available from my F1 setup if anyone is interested in seeing them. Can someone host 3 pics for me?

That is nicely done I will post some pics of one I put on my cousins S-trim. I have found a good place to get this kind of stuff done is Truck Shops or Industrial Exhaust Shops. They have a lot of experience with 3.5"+ Size piping and do a great job welding

>wouldn't PVC piping work since they have elbows for them and they come in various sizes ? they have the glue that bonds it together so that would make it a permanent seal , and you can cut to your desired length .

PVC works, That's what i've been using on my S-Trim for a while. The trouble I'm having now is making some kind of solid intake that goes from my Aftercooler to the MAF which I have Topside instead of Vortechs location down low. Does anybody know of a solid pipe for the MAF to Vortech Aftercooler?

Any of you that used PVC have pics? Did you have clearance problems with the 90 degree bend and the inlet of the head unit?

Question

Why don't more blower guys use prebent piping from a Diesel exhaust shop? I fabbed up some exhaust turndowns with an autozone pipe expander, a sawzall, and a welder (friend of mine owns a small MIG). They have short radius 90* bends and all kinds of stuff. Pretty cheap too. Other than home weld beads, its the same deal.
