I think the bearings just went in my Powerdyne (box of marbles sound). Thinking of switching to a V1. I did several searches but only came up with a few old clips that weren't very good. Anyone have sound clips of the V1 that are fairly new (I've probably already heard old ones)? From what I've seen in person the V2's probably a little too quiet for my taste (as the Powerdyne has been) but I've never heard a V1 in person and on very few clips. I'm just afraid the V1 may be too loud for me. BTW, I may be interested in a used complete or nearly complete V1 or V2 kit if someone's looking to unload one.

It's best to hear the car in person. Some V1's are ear-piercing loud. The one I had on my 5.0 could be heard from a long, long way away. And it was a pain to have the hood open while the car was running, to do things like set the timing etc.
