Recirculate bypass valve?

Currently have my Proflo vented to atmosphere. I'm considering finding a way to recirculate just before the inlet of the blower. Bypass is installed just after blower outlet and before the FMIC. Any advantages/disadvantages? What do you guys do?

App... 97ss 383 D1 MM6 intercooled w/ ~15psi max.
I run 2 Bosch bypass valves which have been calibrated for my system. I run them from the output of the intercooler to the intake on the blower. I also run my MAF sensor on the intake side, so, the valves dump after the MAF. The blower feeds directly to the intake side of the intercooler.

Intercooler is approx the same size but mounted horizontal in front of the K-member.

This has worked well for me.
