Possible interest in a DIY starter turbo kit GP?
3 Attachment(s)
Any interest in a DIY group purchase? I am thinking two log manifolds going forward (deletes A/C) + crossover pipe.
3 Orders: $1000 5 Orders: $850 10 Orders: $700 Here is what I am thinking (both driver's & pass. manifold will look similar to this except facing forward, and the crossover will place the turbo in the middle near the water pump): ***Edit Took my old TT kit that I had sitting around and decided to modify it to make the first kit for the GP*** The first person in on this GP will get this first kit for $750 if they want it! It comes with a 40mm wastegate flange setup. I am discounting it because it is not the exact layout that I wanted to do (since most of it uses components I made 1.5 yrs ago)., but it is close and should make similar power. Pics of driver's side manifold Attachment 26620 Attachment 26621 Pic of pass. side manifold (ignore the DP below it). I will have updated pics tonight. Attachment 26622 |
Always with the no AC and the sweating.

AC? Someone took my ac, heat, and defrost.
Driving in the summer is tollerable. Getting the wife to go anywhere in the car is a different story. Good luck with the GP. |
lol, i read the title as "diy starter turbo kit grand prix" lol i was like...why is he building a kit for grand prix's?
|

why not offer one like in the first pic to keep it to the drivers side and keep AC? i for one would be more interested in a kit if you did that.

http://www.lt1boost.net/log_manifold_kit This GP is strictly for people who want to run individual manifolds to the front |
Adding pics, plus a bonus offer. The first kit (which I am modifying from the existing TT kit I had made shown in the pics) will be sold for $750.
So, for example, the first 3 buyers that qualify for the $1000 GP will go like this: #1. $750 (for the first kit) #2. $1000 #3. $1000 |
this is very tempting. i will let you know in a week or so. Thanks!

Radiator can stand in stock location, but you will need slimmer fans. MPT76 will work nice... |
you should start doing LSx stuff =)
