Ported heads question

will 10 psi be hard on intake question I had my friend that builds engines do port work on them he is used to standard small block chevy heads there is only an 1/8 inch on tip of port for intake gasket will that blow with boost and where do you get a custom set of gaskets stock don't even come close or can you grind them away.

I used the Felpro #1207 intake set. It measures 2.28" x 1.38" for the port opening and is .060" thick. This is a set for a 1st gen small block, so I had to convert it to work with an LT-1. The port work on my heads narrowed the sealing surface as well.

i used a dremel tool with a sanding wheel to open up my fel-pros to match the head

any more input

how thin is the tip of your intake gaskets on ported supercharger appiclations i dont' want to be replacing intake gaskets all the time
