Part # for 2 bar GM map sensor

Those running a 2 bar MAP, what part no are you using? I have a 12569241 and the car starts for 2 seconds and shuts off, so i don't think it likes this sensor.

MAF or speed density? Have you gone through the tune and rescaled your injector constant and everything that says Kpa?

Apologies for the hijack. I will be using a LS2 MAF w/ the efi con. setup. I take it no one sells a 2.5 bar brand new sensor that will plug in?

GM Map sensors that fit a stock lt1 location:

2 bar MAP - 12569241 (replaces old # 16040609)
3 bar MAP - 12223861 (replaces old # 16040749)

3 bar MAP - 12219935 **Alternate voltage curve and connector keyway**

MSD Equivalents:

2 bar MAP - MSD-2312
2 bar MAP - MSD-2313

The 2.5 bar map sensor will not work with our intake manifold as is. I know the Cobalt/Ion had one that was a 2.5, but that was a TMAP sensor that had a built in temperature sensor - I think it is also a 4 pin.

Aside from the scaling question, do you know what Kpa the engine *thinks* it has when it idles for those 2 seconds?

As far as the tune goes, all i did was check the "speed density" box and load the tune with 2 bar setting. Maybe the used 2bar sensor i bought on ebay is no good? Either way, had to put the MAF back in because i need to use the car tomorrow. Put the stock MAP back in and tried the OpenLoop .bin file that used to be a "sticky" and that didn't work either (massive idle surge). I'll run datamaster on it next weekend to see what's going on. I ended up making a dual harness to support the 1 bar or 2bar sensor (notches are different).

Does anyone have a good speed density 2 bar tune that they can send me the .bin so i can study the VE tables to see a good starting point when i get this figured out.

You're VE tables need to be dialed in then, and they probably won't be for the mods you've made. Give it some gas when you start it and try to get it running, after a few minutes it'll go into closed loop then your fuel trims will tell you what percentage your VE tables are off in given cells.

Make sure your injector constant is set to your 42# then halfed for the 2 bar.

Also you can simply cut the notch out of the 2bar sensor with a razor blade so that you can use either one.
