Oil get added too?

Do you add oil inside of the vortech s-trim supercharger during install?? or when the car starts up it sends enough oil from the feed line to the supercharger so it won't burn up??

Re: Oil get added too?

I would follow whatever the directions say. If they don't explicitly tell you to add oil to the supercharger, then I doubt it's necessary.

I doubt adding oil beforehand is necessary, the oil feed should be connected to the oil feed lines for the cooler (or right to the port near the filter) and should get oil almost immediately. Most superchargers have all their bearings and seals pre-lubed from the factory anyway, so the few seconds it takes to get oil to the unit shouldn't be a problem.

When in doubt, ask the manufacturer.
