New to FI

Ok, so i'm new to this Forced induction thing so i know almost nothing about it....

I have a bone stock LT1 and looking for sort of FI. I can't decide if it would be safe on the engine because it is stock...no mods at all except a cai, but I don't consider that a performance mod. If one would be better than the other then which one??? Does it effect emissions at all?? Again, I really know nothing except what turns the turbine...thats about it

do a search to find information. There's plenty of it here...

A stock LT1 is a high compression motor. No boost is "safe" on a stocker. You can usually get away with 6-8 psi for a little while, but eventually, you will need a forged rebuild. The hyper-explosive pistons in the LT1s just don't stand up to boost.
