I have an 02 Z28 with the STS kit, borla y-pipe and gutted cats. I have caspers O2 simulators in both rear O2's to keep the SES light off. I need to purchase a wideband o2 and am looking at the AEM Wideband UEGO controller w/gauge and bosch sensor, my question is do I need a pair of widebands so they can monitor each bank or could I place one after the y-pipe?

I went with the Innovate kit. LC-1 and XD-16 gauge. I put the sensor in the y-pipe where they join together right before the cat. Hope this helps.........John.

I bought an LC-1 and am in the process of installing it right now. I've heard that placing it upstream of the turbo will lead to wrong readings due to the high exhaust pressure. I read on one of these threads (or another forum possibly) to place the sensor just downstream of the STS. That's where I'm putting mine, but I haven't gotten it running yet for results.
