Need help finding a dyno tuner for my supercharged LT1, please help!

Well, after all the relentless issues popping up, my supercharged 383 project is almost done. Now I need to find someone that can give me a good tune. It needs to be someone who is within 3-4 hours drive of New Jersey, and is confident they can tune my car. The car is a 95 Z28, stock PCM, 9:1 forged pistons, D1SC with 12# of boost, FMIC, M6. I will be leaving the car to be tuned on pump gas. The car should do 600+ to the wheels. I have been told it is difficult to tune over 600 RWHP on a LT1 PCM, but it can be done. I had planned on a tune from Bryan Herter from PCM's for less, but due to his availability, I won't be able to use him. I need a good tune, and need one soon (within a week). Does anyone have any suggestions for tuners in my area?

How far are you from Portsmouth Rhode Island?

I'd give Buddy a call from www.maximumperformance.com
401-683-5670

You can mapquest the trip to see how close he is, the address is 24 Clearview Ave

They have a mustang dyno which is good for tuning, I have tuned both my old 94 Z/28 and my current 73 Z/28 down there at max performance.

Tell him Uncle Marc sent ya

I've heard Jeff Creech is pretty good at Carolina Automasters. He tuned that car on Pinks with a D1SC.

CALL911 I have a Very similiar setup to you (I'm in Arkansas) and I Plan on taking mine to Tulsa, Oklahoma to Ed Wright. My brother took his 06 Z51 6-speed down there with bolt-ons and made 407RWHP and 411RWTQ (Ed knows his stuff). Are you going to put miles on the car N/A first to break everything in or break it in on the dyno the the charger???

Does anyone have a Recommendation on breaking in a FI motor, should it be done N/A first then strap the Blower belt on???? OR done from the start with the Blower???

As stated originally, Bryan from PCM's for less will not be available to tune my car in the time frame I need. (next couple of weeks). I would be willing to drive 4-6 hours away from the Trenton NJ area. Basically I want something I can drive the car to, get it tuned, and drive it back in one day. I believe that puts either of the Carolina's out, and definatly Ed Wright in Oklahoma.

Thanks a ton for the suggestions. I'll make a few calls and see what I come up with. If anyone else knows anyone, please feel free to post them.

The time frame may be a problem anywhere. Busy time of year for performance guys.

I've called ECS, Cartek, and TTP for him. NO ONE seems to work on the LT1's anymore. But I think we got him covered now, just got done setting something up for him.

Fastbird93 is correct. As of now, I have a tuner in Maryland who I feel confident in doing the tune. Unless anything else goes wrong with the car between now and then, the tune is scheduled for Wednesday evening. Thanks to everyone for helping me find a tuner, especially Fastbird. I'll let everyone know how it turns out when I get back from the dyno.
