making an intercooler

I heard some mention of people making thier own, Im not using it for forced induction by the way, so it will need to be a certain special shape and size, just curious if it takes special tools and supplies or a welder and some metal sheets with some turbulator things is all you need and where to get the stuff.....?????

HHHHHHHHMMMMMMMMMMM. Well, if you are not using it for forced induction then i doubt it will do what you want it to do, so fill us in. When people talk about making anintercooler, they don't actually make one. They find out what size core they need and then they either buy one with the endtanks they specified or they make there own tanks. Other than that I douibt to many people actually "make" an intercooler. I personally would go with a Spearco core because they have minimal presuure drop and are super effcient.
