Intercooler

Sup guys, lookin for a good air-to-air intercooler for my S-Trim Vortech on my LT1 (http://www.cardomain.com/id/jcamaro1994)

I was checking out the Vortech aftercooler, but that thing is too damn expensive. Can somebody point me in the direction of a good air-to-air setup? I'm totally clueless, I'm pretty new to FI.

I've read in other older threads through the search that alcohol/water injection and small shots (25) of N20 could be used as a charge cooler? Am I mistaken? How does this work?

As I said, I'm pretty new to F/I still, and haven't looked at charge cooling setups much until now.

You may want to contact Spearco regarding their intercoolers.

I just got my Spearco through Jordon Musser. Very nice.

I think Brooke (aggiez28) has an A/A for sale.

Agreed, I would look into getting a spearco or get one of ati's intercoolers.

I have heard guys with the Buick GN modifying the Ford powerstroke intercoolers and using them. I have not seen any but I would guess that with the right custom tubing it could work.

They're nowhere near as efficient as a good Spearco or Griffin. GN guys use them because they are bigger than the stocker (if they have one) and are an upgrade.
