injector size ?

I hate to ask about an injector size but i just need to make sure of my size. I am building a supercharged 383 with near 15#s of boost. Im shooting for 650 up to 700hp flywheel. But im trying to get my injectors now. Do yall think low to mid 50lb injectors are needed? Im thinking around 52#lbs injector. Also what brand would yall suggest and last ? is can i have to big of an injector?

I would say somewhere around 60lb should do you good. I would call up racetronix, they have got your fuel needs covered. I would use a lucas, dephi, siemmens, etc.

Check the corral - You could make a living buying fuel parts over there and then selling them on GM boards. Injectors are almost always cheaper on the Ford boards... Don't know why.

injectors

Exotic Performance plus has the 60# siemes on for $419.00 us call Bob at 260-244-4808.
Racetronic got back to me last night an told me for the 60# to support 600to650 rwhp the fuel pressure would have to be set at about 58psi,i might go with the new 79lbs, there suppose to have good idle.
Hope this might help you out.

I am running 90ish% duty cycle with something like 60 psi up top, so what they told you sounds about right.

With this setup tuning idle and cruise is starting to get a little annoying, but def not a problem yet. Pulswidths below 2ms don't leave a lot of room for adjustment.

Of course many other factors go into it.

This is on 60# injectors
