how much boost

I am running a 95 lt1 which is now a 355. Arp main studs, crower sportsman rods, srp / je pistons with a final compression of 9.8. CC305 cam and mild match porting and valve job to the heads. crower 1.6 rockers.

I would like to run 10 lbs if possible. which injectors would be best and do you think my bottom end can hanndle that amount of boost.

Thanks

Re: how much boost

If your pistons are forged at that CR then I would say you should be fine running that amount of boost. To help ensure you are fine, I would also reccomend running a FMIC.

I would suggest Mototron 60# injectors for your anticipated boost level.

The pistons are forged. Forgot to add that.

Do you have any pics of your fmic , and did you make your own set up? I plan on running an intercooler, but it looks like i may have to fab something up unless you guys know where to get a kit.

I have a t-trim that is not installed yet and i would like to do an intercooler as part of the install.

Re: how much boost

I can email you some pics if you would like. Pretty much the best way to go (since there really isn't any LT1 FMIC kits out there) is to get the FMIC, and then have it mounted up under your front bumper. Yeah there is a lot of fabrication work involved, and it can be very tedius work, but FMIC is definatly the way to go IMO. Unless you are good with a welder and have lots of extra pipe, I reccomend finding a shop to help you out.
If you are looking for a good deal on the FMIC, ask for Bob at Exotic Performance Plus (www.exoticperformanceplus.com) and tell him CALL911 sent you. He'll get you a great deal on the FMIC as he did for me.

All I can say is, be very careful with detonation at 9.8, those pistons DO NOT like to rattle! Ask me how I know.
