i am going to build a budget 383LT1 motor and want to put a litle boost to it. I may go with a forged crank if i can find one at a good price but will probably use a cast stroker crank, factory rods with some work on them, and a good set of forged pistons probably je. what kind of boost is going to be safe with this setup? i will probably use factory heads with work done to them to compliment whichever cam i go with and the turbo. would i be better off going with an aftermarket set of heads with a bigger cc to help bring compression down? also, those of you with turbos, give me some ideas on a cam, what you have run or are running that works. i am not looking to make a race car out of it just a street bruiser that can hold its own and is a little extravagant. plus, i want to see the look on the ricer boys faces when they here the blow off valve release under the hood of an old car. thanks, dust6928.......
