How do you know when your S/C belt is slipping ?

Question How do you know when your S/C belt is slipping ?

>when I rev the car up to about 4000 RPM it makes a squealing sound , but when I disconnect the S/C belt it doesn't . I guess I answered my own question . But I still like to hear from you guys/girls .

You'll notice that your boost will fluxuate and will not go steadily liek it should. You'll also usually see belt fragments on the blower or pulley it self and you'll probably smell it and hear it.

Your belt is slipping. The squealing sound is a dead giveaway.
