Hot cam with supercharger???
 

Hello I was wondering if a ati procharger or vortech supercharger will work on my 94 camaro z28 m6 with a Lt4 Hot cam. I was wondering will it work with my hotcam or do I have to take that out??

Will it work? Yes. (I wouldnt run more then 8psi)

Will you loose some power because of the 112LSA? Yes - maybe 30-40rwhp

Will that lost power be an issue at like 5500+rpm? Nope.

Will running a supercharger (intercooled and well tuned) on the stock bottom end blow up the motor? Eventually depending on how often you run it on hard boost.

Will it be a blast till then? Yup. :D

The same cam with a 114LSA would do better for a blower, but in all honesty it's not a horrid cam to use. If you arent keen on swapping cams in an lt1, I'd say leave it in for now.
