Freezing temps = 22psi !!

So I've been lazy and cheap. I never got around to swapping to a bigger turbo so I decided to put the car back together and drive it some. Saturday it was 75 here. Sunday its was cold. Boost controller had been set something like 16-17psi on the dyno and falling off to 15ish up top in the fall.

Made a few highway pulls yesterday and it was spiking to 22psi and only falling off to 18-19 up top. The new MT et streets got a workout.

I need to get back to the dyno and actually tune it with this cold air - The t70 may still surprise me even more than it already has.

Oh and and the new challenger

* damn typos

Yeah, you'll make more boost in the cold. The bigger worry is leaning out, so keep an eye on that. My buddy took his mustang out the other day out here (has been in the 40's) and he was pushing 12:1 on his wideband on a tune that usually runs in the high 10:1 range.

Megasquirt seemed to account for it just fine. Granted thats pushing the upper limits of my 3 bar map. I guess it was still using the data in my ve table for 200kpa and then doing its multiplier thing for the map reading.

How do you like your megasquirt setup? I've been contemplating going with an aftermarket ecu & 2 bar setup lately with my YSi. Looks like the 3 main options are the FAST xfi, Accel DFI and a Megasquirt setup.

For the cost you absolutely can not beat it. You can build a MS system cheaper than you can get software and a cable for an lt1, then you are still stuck with an NA only system...

At the same time its not a plug and play system. Someone out there is selling one thats a direct drop in, but that defeats the purpose and cost savings. There are a ton of options.

Cheap and DIY - Megasquirt
Got money and no time - Pick something else
