Re: F2 427SBC '69 Camaro

I've seen a ton of the Dominator stuff on RKG and HRG. Are you going to let it self tune first, then do the tune, or straight to the tune?

This thread make me wish I was 30 years younger so I could start a project like this. Appears so well thought out and carefully executed.

Let it self tune for the initial start. I'll let the tuner decide for the dyno pulls. I've always tuned carbs. This is my first time with EFI.

Thanks. Next winter it will get a new chassis. Full back half in the rear and a strut front end. The following year will be body and paint. I plan on retiring in 2 years and I want the car finished.

Re: F2 427SBC '69 Camaro

Some progress this weekend. Procharger sent me the wrong accessory drive when I ordered in in early January. The correct one arrived on Friday.

Looking good. Noob question: what are the studs in the lifter valley?

Those are just vents into the crankcase. Oil goes down the other holes.

Thanks!

Not running yet, but getting closer. Had to change some things.

I like the coil pack mounts on the valve covers; super clean! The accessory brackets are really nice too. I need a first gen, I am overly jealous about all the room you have under the hood.

My son's 461 LSX is finally finished. It made 758HP and 665tq on 91 octane pump gas, no nitrous.

It runs! Still needs to be tuned, the idle is too low.
