F2 427SBC '69 Camaro
This build will get me to my goal, or probably a bit quicker. The goal has been to run at least 8.50's. The current version of this motor has too much compression for the F2 at almost 14:1. When the Procharger goes on I'll replace the crank with one that has a BBC snout, swap the pistons to bring the compression down and convert to E85. It already has the blower cam in it and the F2 has been sitting in the box next to the car since last summer. Here are the parts involved:
Dart 9.325" deck Iron Eagle block
AFR 245 Heads
T&D steel body 1.6 ratio 0.550" offset shaft rockers
4/7 Swap solid roller 274/286 @ .050" 0.704" lift
Crower Enduramax Lifters
Jesel Belt Drive
Lunati Promod 6.0" rods
JE Pistons
Crower crank
Dart Manifold
Holley 1050 Dominator

Re: F2 427SBC '69 Camaro
Most of the parts have arrived now but still waiting on pistons and the dampener. I've also decided to go with the Holley Dominator EFI coil on plug set up with Injector Dynamics 2,000cc/min injectors. Injectors and fuel rails are supposed to be in next week so we can modify the intake manifold.
Crower billet rods
Crower crank
Motor mocked up with F2 and accessories. Had to replace my electric water pump with a remote electric pump because of the blower belt.

Nice! I have a good friend that built a '62 Nova with an LS2 with a turbo and used that Holley Dominator EFI. That system is awesome--tuning capabilities seem to be endless. I think you will like it. Anxious to see how your project turns out.

The crankshaft has arrived. Crower did a real nice job balancing it. Now the motor can go together for the final time.
The shortblock is ready to assemble. Would have been done already but we had the wrong main bearings and the right ones were supposed to arrive this morning. Turns out they didn't ship them so they are driving them down from Sacramento. Should be here any time and things can be assembled.
Short block is finally together.

The motor is finally finished and at home. I'll drop it in this weekend and then I need to get busy! I have 2 spare pistons in case I do something stupid. These things are ridiculous!

The serpentine accessory drive finally arrived from Procharger. Now I can run A/C with the F2. Also, the manifold is almost finished. Just need to get it powder coated.

The Dominator hat arrived from Steve Morris a couple of weeks ago. And the manifold is finally powder coated. Now I can bolt it on and finish hooking everything up. The car is scheduled to go to BRE Rods and Classics in a couple weeks to finish the EFI so the car will be ready for the dyno.
