Centrifugal parasitic loss question

Wondering about something. How much horsepower does it take to drive the average small centrifugal sc that is capable of maybe 450 or 500 hp? Thanks.

Ouch. I had been thinking of an electric drive for a custom chassis, but I guess that's out. A 60 horse motor would be too big and too heavy. Not to mention the alternator that thing would require. Oh, well. I didn't want turbos, but it's starting to look that way. Thanks.

I am pretty sure the newer more efficient blowers are on the lower side of that scale not to mention on a LT1, LS1 or most V8. You don't need a large amount of pressure to create those power levels although without doubt the turbo is the more efficient on the usuable power to boost scale.
