boost gauge reading vacuum, no boost at wot.

Problem as stated, running off of PCV port. At wot it pegs zero, but no boost. Could I be bleeding boost through the surge valve? I have good vacuum at idle, and I believe that the valve is working properly. I would like to know how much boost I am making!

I am apparently having this same problem
Im running an AEM boost gauge, how about yourself?

You have the gauge feeding off of the port on the front of the manifold?

The port right underneath the brake booster. http://img.tapatalk.com/425752a4-3fe2-2dc9.jpg

That's the port I'm using too. When you say, no boost, do you mean you're car is boosting correctly but it's just the gauge is not reporting it?
I have both a regular analog boost gauge and the AEM truboost which is integral to the electronic boost controller. Both show my boost/vacuum correctly.

Normally you put a check valve on that line to prevent boost from hitting the PCV valve and forcing its way into the crankcase. Have you tried moving the gauge line to one of the other ports on the manifold? I run my gauge and bypass valve from one of the other ports on that side of the engine with a T fitting.

I run mine off that spot and there's no problem with it. I'd get another gauge - maybe a cheap diagnostic gauge or other low pressure gauge of some sort - taped to the windshield or something just to see what's up.

There was another guy a couple months back that had this same exact problem. I can't remember how/if he resolved it, though. He did test his gauge separately off the car and it seemed to show pressure, so you may want to try that. And make sure your hard line isn't kinked or leaky at the back of the gauge.
