bigger injectors, and SC and no tune...for now

ok guys heres the deal, im installing half of my winter mods list and wants to start driving the car a little. im putting a paxton 6psi supercharger, and all the things that come with it except for the fmu, i want to use bigger fuel pump (in line and intake 255lph) and 42 lb injectors, and just retard the timing low untill i get my heads and cam and dyno tune all done. since i dont have the $ for heads and cam and ported intake yet i dont wanna go and get charged for a dyno tune. will the car be safe like this? will these bigger injectors even work right without the MAF or PCM being tuned for them? im asking because i know on mustangs they have to program the MAF to change injector sizes.
thanks

i figured 42#ers since i'll also be doing heads, cam, ported intake, full valvetrain, full exhaust with long tubes, and every other bolt on around

You MUST do some sort of computer work if you upgrade the injectors. At idle the computer does what it's told. So the same injector pulse with bigger injectors will lead to adn extremely rich condition and probably ring washout and destroy your engine. Not good, don't cut corners, it'll only cost you more in the long run.

try http://www.fastchip.com for a good base program that'll get you going.

mn_vette is right, you have to AT MINIMUM change the injector constant in the computer to 42.

Other than that, you can probably get by without a custom fuel curve or other detailed programming. Unless you're over 500 rwhp, the MAF does a decent job of keeping the A/F ratio right.
