best way to remove blower pulley while on bench?? Help

best way to remove blower pulley while on bench?? Help

Hey guys,

I have a new 8 rib dedicated drive system for my 95 vette and need to change the blower pulley over to the 8 rib pulley (P1SC).. need to know the best way to hold everyting still to loosen the pulley retaining bolt.. and if it is reverse thread or std threaded.. thank in advance guys!

I put mine in a wood vise....and hit the pully with some heat for about 15 seconds...then it slid right off

Use an impact on the bolt, it may slide right off. If not then do as above and apply some heat with a propane torch for just a few seconds. Don't burn yourself. Use loctite 262 on bolt for the install.

yes impact will do it
