Anyone spraying a boosted motor?

I'm thinking of a 30-50 horse shot to cool the incoming air charge of an 8.5 to 1 comp ratio 355 LT1 with an intercooled Turbonetics T-60 turbo.

What is your question? I am running 17psi and a 200hp shot.

I heard that higher levels of nitrous can actually slow you down on a boosted car. Did you try a 50 or 100 shot?

Tried various amounts of N2O both on the dyno and the track. More nitrous (and fuel) = more rwhp = quicker Et and faster trap speeds. Why would it slow you down? BTW: with a turbo, once you hit the N2O the volume of exhaust gasses will spike up and the turbo will spool like a ****

Rich, how would you feel about spraying on a non-intercooled, non-alky injection car?

I think a small shot would be ok, if it has sturdy parts (especially the pistons).
