Ok some friends and I are thinking of messing around with turbos. Already have done nitrous.

Right now the motor is a 9.9:1 350 with vortec heads, XE 274 (230/236) Comp cam and a single plane intake. Turbo 350, 3.73 gears in a 1982 Camaro that weighs around 3300 pounds with driver.

Car runs 12.2's at 111.85 right now naturally aspirated. I plan on knocking the compression back down to around 9.1-9.3:1 before I stick a turbo on the car. Its not an optimal motor for a turbo, but I want to get my setup built and the tuning all figured out before I build my "real" shortblock .


What would a good, fairly common turbo be for a car like mine. I want to find something cheap on ebay. I would like to do a single turbo also. Something with room to grow I am thinking...
