Yet another top 100 best guitarists list

A bit better than the one I posted earlier, but it still sucks. Head and Munky from Korn ahead of John Petrucci? Come on.

That looks like a better "inspirational" top guitar players list than "best" guitar players list...

"It is, rather, a tribute to the great men who **** iron and **** stainless steel razor blades, and do it every time they plug into an amplifier."

Jimmy Page pisses razorblades? Great (awesome, groundbreaking) player, but I don't think so. I love Joe Satriani, but again given the criteria, how'd he even make the list? He donesn't even play heavy metal!!. LOL

Randy should be #1 IMHO

I'd love to hear some of his work! I keep hearing he's awesome, but I have yet to hear proof. Plus, it will take some serious guitar work for me to look past that retarded KFC bucket. Worst. Gimic. Ever.

The rest of the list is pretty good though. Beats the hell outta RS list with Jack White at #17 and EVH at 70-something.

Agreed.

I watched Hoey do a solo gig (no band, etc) about 6 years ago. Blew my mind.

Petrucci is the man. There is not one guitarist in the world that can match him. HE IS INVINCIBLE! Dream Theatre is the amazing. Also Yngwie Malmsteen is amazing and vai...other than those guys, I really don't see the other guys getting very close...Especially petrucci. He can right all of the stuff he does out which is CRAZY!
