WTF happened to my truck window

I have a 07 Silverado Crew Cab and I just saw some strange damage on the driver rear window. There are dozens of tiny chips or etching and some have very tiny trails of discoloration.

There are some on the driver front window but significantly fewer. Nothing on the passenger side and no damge to the paint. Kinds of looks like burns but from what I have no idea.

What is going on here?

Stop dumping your meth pipe out the window after it's cashed. Or at least slow down first.

Any way you could get a pic? I'm having a hard time imagining what you're talking about.

Re: WTF happened to my truck window

I had a rear brake pad wear down due to a stuck caliper on my Tahoe, and metal dust got on the windows. It left very fine bumps and some discoloration, sort of some streaks. No pitting, but it was rough to touch, especially with a baggie over my hand. Worst on hatch, less the further forward I went. It was even on the front side window. Clay bar wouldn't touch it. I finally tried Muriatic Acid, and that took it off pretty easily.
