MLB All Star Game

I'm not watching it due to Hafner being looked-over (again) for the team, but I'm certainly glad Liriano got in, although he should be starting and had to get in due to someone backing out.

What a silly game Selig made it by giving the winner home field advantage in the World Series. Terrible idea.

I think it was a good idea, too bad he didn't come up with it.

I agree with Gunny. I admit that interleague games are exciting, but they're diluting the mystique of the World Series. If you only play teams outside your division six times a year, how the hell does it make any sense to play a team that's not even in your league 3-4 times a year

Meh... Liriano is impressive as hell, but he's only started what, 9 games? Might as well put Zach Miner in there at that point too.

Hell, I'm a little upset that more Tigers didn't make it. Verlander deserved a spot as much as any other pitcher.

But that's the all star game. Lots of deserving guys miss it, and undeserving guys make it. Happens every year.

I hope the AL wins again. Just so the White Sox have home field advantage again. Maybe I can actually get a ticket this year.

Hafner? Seriously? .289 with 9 homers and 22 RBI? He has no business being in the All-Star game this year. The only Indians I can think of that deserve a trip are Shin Soo Choo and Victor Martinez.

Yeah? Explain yourself. Hafner doesn't belong in the All-Star game and there's no way the White Sox make the playoffs.
