Of course most people would give it serious consideration if it was a human relative, but if it were indeed possible to transplant from human to canine, would you?

I'll hang up and listen to your answers.

No. Lifespan of the dog isn't that long compared to people. My dog would be missed, but there are lots of other good dogs looking for homes.

F to the no! Seriously, as much as people love pets, that's retarded. Even if it was possible, who would go through that for an animal.

My friend gave away her kidney to someone she barely knew, so since I have such a fantastic role model, I wouldn't be able to turn a human being down. I'm also on the donor list for bone marrow.

For a dog? No way, Jose.

No. My dogs are like family, but they are still dogs.

No. If his lifespan was comparable to a human, I'd consider it. I may be in the minority here, but I don't value a human life more than any other mammal. I almost totalled my car to miss a rabbit.

Insects and arachnids, on the other hand, can rot in hell.

This (except cats in my case, no dogs).

I will spend money to get them well, but I would not give them an organ.

This. Even then, I'd probably only donate a kidney to one of my kids or wife (if it was a match), depending on the situation.
