How much should I sell VHS movies at a garage sale?

I have about 25 VHS movies that I'm having in a garage sale this weekend.
Most of them are in perfect condition (box and movie).

What do you think?

yeah, for VHS, prolly no more than a buck or 2...half of em you can prolly buy new for $5 or so these days...

I'd check ebay though, ya might have one or 2 that are more in demand and could get a higher price...then list em on there and get 6 bucks instead of 2

Garage sales are supposed to be cheap and people want deals. VHS tapes can be had for under $5.00 these days brand new.

I say $10.00 for the entire lot of 25. You could start with $20.00 for the lot and go from there though.

Yeah, check ebay. MST3K: The Movie is going for about $10 shipped. Though you'll probably just end up being better off selling them for $2/piece than shipping them all out.

While I sort of agree with Jackie, from an economics standpoint, if you charge $2/each, you only need to sell 5 movies to get as much as she suggests you charge for all 25. As soon as you sell the 6th movie, you've made additional profit.

Start at $2. If they don't move by mid day, lower the prices or offer them all for a low price.

Good point. I could agree with that plan.

I did check out some used VHS movies and tapes on Amazon and they are going for as little as $.75.
