A Pakistani man was so inspired by the United Arab Emirates's upcoming independence day that he created a rolling tribute by gluing thirty-three thousand of the nation's coins onto his son's 1998 Camaro

So he covered the catfish in scales.

Re: Coinmaro

if the coins on your car are worth more than the car itself, you might be redneck....

Re: Coinmaro

I would hate to drive anywhere near that thing on a hot sunny day, which I would assume is like everyday in Pakistan.

Re: Coinmaro

I don't even want to know what kind of vibrations it's getting from having all those coins on the wheels.

And the windows probably either don't roll down....and that car will be like a disco ball when light hits it. Looks mostly like a waste of time, but to each their own.

I can tolerate the coins on the body...but the glass and the wheels? C'mon, man.

Matters where.

Why would this person do this? Emiratis treat Pakistanis like dirt, like a sub-human class.

Anyways- i think it looks kinda cool =)

Comments below the article says the coins total added weight is about 375 pounds, plus 20 pounds of glue.

Re: Coinmaro

No word on what the car's current weight is, but there's a full twenty pounds of glue holding those coins in place so we can safely assume that the performance envelope has shrunken significantly. Also unclear is whether the son gave permission for this to be done in the first place.
I wonder where the son was for a year that he wouldn't notice THIS!
