Those with E cutouts come in

I'm thinking about purchasing a 3" electric cutout. What is the true size of the butterfly valve? I'm assuming most are around 2.5" or so, not actually 3 inches. Can anyone confirm? Probably going with badlanz FWIW.

I run a 3 1/2" QTP. Plate diameter is 3.125 inches.
