Long Tube Headers
Long Tube Headers
I've been looking around many various websites, but for some reason I am really confused. I have a 1997 Camaro Z28, and I would like to run long tube headers.
As the car sits right now it has straight pipes. I HATE the way this sounds. It is way too poppy. It sounds like it backfires, honestly, but my car isn't backfiring.
I want to make my car sound really good. What brand LT's would you run? I would like to spend no more than $500 (maybe a little over but not a lot) on headers, and then the same amount for the muffler/tips/etc. Not counting installation for either, of course.
What will make my LT1 sound the best, LT's/Muffler/The whole setup for $1,000 or less?
Thanks

Pacesetter long and magnaflow with no cats (If you can)
I'm running pacesetter long headers with dynomax exhaust with no cat and my car sounds mean. You're going to get different answers for headers and exhaust here...It's different strokes for different folks here.
