Exhaust questions

Im sure all the information i am looking for has been covered in one way or another already. Ive tried a search and come up with a little of what im looking for in every other thread. I want to come up with a plan for my specific goals as everyone has different goals and hopes for their ride.

I have a 1993 Formula m6. Right now my car is stock as far as motor goes. Im looking to get the exhaust set up now for the long term and only have to do it once. The car will not see much track time, if any at all. It will probably always be less than 400 whp. I do not want to lose any ground clearance, Period. So i believe that rules out all long tube headers, correct? And neither shortys or mids have ground clearance issues. So then its on too ease of install (lol), plug access, and difference in power gains. Ive heard good things about mac mids. How easy/hard would it be to convert the collector to a slip fit collector? would an exhaust shop be able to do this?

Re: Exhaust questions

Just go with the long tubes. Im lowered with a pro-kit and have no issuses with ground clearance. Just stay away from big speed bumps and steap driveway enterances
