Holy ****, I just got my cut out installed and wow...it's sooo loud lol. So I suppose this thread is to recommend them to anyone that wants a loud *** exhaust.

Not to shabby what a 30 dollar mod can do for you. Even after blowing over a grand on long tube headers, an off-road y-pipe, and a Magnaflow catback, I still ended up buying another cheap cutout.

Just imagine running your car straight off of the ORY..... it's even louder... I ran around town for awhile like that. I think that's the best sounding exhaust I have ever had on my car. Now I have a magnaflow and an e-cutout. I like the sound of the y pipe better but listening to music is easier w/ the magnaflow.

I'd like Dual cut outs. I might drop the $80 on it before I go for the long haul... ALL NEW exh set up. Dual X Dumped w/ new OR LT's.

Mine sounds like the world is comming to the end with the cat gone and the cutout open

Its nice in limited doses, but i liked the open cutout sound with a cat

all i know is that my cammed LS1....long tubes, no cats on a 3" xpipe...no mufflers dumped at the axles....

was loud.....dare i say...too loud!!

sounded badass...but for practical purposes it was too loud. i was never able to really drive it like i should due to fear of tickets (lots of cops...all in town driving).

with the mufflers on it...i use the loud pedal ALOT more

How much did the muffler shops charge you guys to have headers and y pipe installed.....also an e cutout by itself?

I've heard of shops charging up to 600-700 bucks to do a headers install. To install a cutout by itself, it can run upwards of 75 dollars and that doesn't take into account the labor involved to do the wiring if you wanted them to do so.
