Camaro won't downshift into second over 35 mph. Could it be tps?

Swapped the tps into my ta and it works fine. Any other ideas?

It was a unit i bought off Ebay rebuilt. It was junk, had it rebuilt again. It was a stock rebuild with a shift kit. Probably not a good idea.

It worked fine.

Most likely, you have a '96-up trans in the car. GM changed the downshift strategy in '96. It was different than the '95. They have a different resistance downshift solenoid, valve body, and separator plate.

And it was fine in the Camaro until it sat for 7 months.

Clean the maf and reset the pcm. Mine does that occasionally when the maf gets contaminated.
