will LCA relo's lower the rear any?

just what it says above. I already have my car lowered with sportlines. my question is: will installing lower control arm relocation brackets lower the rear any? will it help a lot with traction? will it make a differance im 1/4 mile time, traction wise?

I'm going to go with the BMR weld in. good idea? i'm not going to raise the car ever. do i need LCA's also or should i just forget those, i don't think i need em.

no - it will not lower the car any further
yes it will help with traction - a bit
yes - generally better traction = better times
do not expect huge changes

weld is better than bolt in

I like aftermarket LCA's as the stockers are flimsy but it is not required to change them - put them on your xmas list

they help alot with the combo of the brackets and the LCA's...

i hooked a lot better at the track.

How are those sportlines going? i had them and i literally could not put my fingers in between the tires and the wheel well.
i then switched to QA1 shocks because i could not stand the ride of the sportlines...

I love the sportlines. wish it was a little lower. on the other hand my exhaust is only 2" from the ground so i can;t have it any lower. if i give the car any quick hit of the gas it wants to break loose. I can break them without hammering the gas in 1st 2nd and 3rd, i really have to punch it to get them to break in 4th. but kumho's suck for tractionm anyways

Hey man, saw you were located in Poland. I go to YSU and live in Salem. Just never saw anyone so close to home on CZ28 before. Sweet car, hope to see you on the 224 strip sometime. Ever meet at the muffler shop across from the boardman plaza?

Dude what mods you have? because I did 607 and my car doesn't come loose in 2nd gear that easy... and I do not have any suspension mods and my car is lowered... my car does 2.4 on the 60'. so... not a rocket either... and it does run...

I just have some basic exhaust mods, this and that just the usual and nothing major, the torque my car makes is crazy i think its 335 from the factory plus my longtubes and wide open exhaust. it just kicks sideways so easy through the rpm range. i'm hoping to get some 305 drag radials for the 18" rims i want.

I drive my car to YSU every once in a while, and i hang out at manroe almost every weekend in the summer, i was there a week ago. i know all the guys. cant say ive ever seen your car around. cant miss mine. i have to park it on the street cause my exhaust and ground effects wont clear the parking decks.

Well.. mine did 557rwtq at 5550rpm... so lots of torque there.. I live in PR

im just saying that there is something wrong with your hookup in your car and I have STOCK everything and i Cant burn my tires like you say you do yours...
and I have 4.11 gears with the firestone sz50ep tires... so no biggie tires here... and I only pull 2.4 on the 60' launching in 2nd gear... which yes I smoke completely at the track, but its launching and a different story...

I pull a 2.1 60' at the track. It's most likely weather conditions and road conditions, i dont drive in thye rain but its a lot easier to spin when its cold, i havent tuned my computer at all yet and i get a lot of false knock that slos me down, and i have a 6 speed. most likely dusty roads and not sticky tires. my car only does a 13.9 at the track. sad i know
